i am back with a bucket o’ nuggets!

September 9, 2007

Well Kids, I am on the WordPress Train. I nearly killed myself trying to make it look presentable, and I didn’t do too bad of a job, since I have NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL I’M DOING. CSS should be named Crappy Shitty Shit. It’s like being cold and having someone giving me knitting needles and telling me to make myself a sweater. I don’t know the first thing about knitting. I’d probably knit myself a sassy little noose. CSS is the same for me. I figured a lot of it out by tweaking my Heidiland Classic layout. It’s not too bad. I’m pretty sure that I will get the hang of it eventually.

I didn’t want to move my blog. I like EFX2. No one knows if it’s even coming back at this point. If it does, I don’t know what I’ll do. I am making this place homey. I registered with WordPress after the whole Modblog Meltdown of 2005, but was too frustrated by editing the themes to give it a proper go.

I’ve got news for you, CSS. Heidiland is the new sheriff in town, and she doesn’t take kindly to your shenanigoats. I hope you know this means war.

WAR! WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Great. I’m going to have that song stuck in my head for the next century. So, I’m here. I’m Heidiland. Get used to it?

  1. Hey, this looks really lovely. If this blog were a person it would be a princess.

  2. I hate moving, it takes me forever to find everything.
    hmph.

It does look great in here though, nice job, very Heidi-homeish.

  3. I like the look and thanks for both Blog Nomads and leading me here. I can deal with this right now. I’m praying that EFX2 comes back but I can live with WordPress right now…

  4. I’m pretty much with you Slade. It’s like living in an apartment while your house is being renovated. WordPress is an excellent back up, but it’s just not… home.

  5. Hi I found you – it looks good but I prefer efx and can’t stand it without alerts as you have to hunt everyone down to see if they’ve posted which takes much longer!!

  6. Oh my … we are everywhere … I started one here, but I also have 3 at http://www.blogger.com/profile/13832888123197142764.

I will be glad when we can all move back … “home”
